PATIENT ZERO

Nurse Josephine is on the last hour of her shift. Despite her exhaustion, she pulls herself together and gets back to work. Josephine assists a doctor in tending to Rikako, a woman who had collapsed in a bar without warning. They try to assist the unconscious patient however the doctors are struggling to figure out what Rikako’s condition is. They have never seen anything like it and can’t make sense of her symptoms. Josephine tries to assist the doctors but as she attempts to help, she witnesses the impossible. Rikako staring at her with haunting eyes and a malevolent smile on her face. Despite her best efforts to relay this information, the doctors tell Josephine that she is too exhausted and must merely be seeing things. Josephine agrees, letting her guard down to a truth far worse than they could anticipate. Whatever’s wrong with Rikako, it has corrupted her and now it wants Josephine…
