Parasited Meltdown 1

Mariana Martix, after being ravaged by the tentacles infesting ECHO-7, manages to escape their clutches. Despite being free from the tendrils, avoiding being dragged back into the reactor and cocooned like the others, she is still trapped inside the power plant and must find a way out. In her effort to escape, she manages to find another person sent into the reactor, Casca Zahara.

Having clearly suffered from the tentacles as well, Casca gets awoken by Mariana who vows to find a way out for the both of them. She asks Casca to stay put and rest for a moment whilst she checks to make sure the path to their exit is clear.

In her search for an exit, Mariana encounters a power plant worker infested with parasitic worms created by the tentacles. She avoids being detected by the infected plant worker and finds a pathway out, heading back to rescue Casca. Unfortunately for Mariana, when she returns to find Casca and take her back, Casca has been exposed to the parasites, possessed by the worms and with the insatiable urge to infect Mariana.
