Alex returns to an empty home after a busy day at work. Whilst he assumes he’s alone, Alex can’t shake the feeling that someone else is inside his house. He shrugs it off and tries to unwind, only to be confronted by a mysterious stranger (Emma Rosie).
The stranger unfurls their jacket, revealing their naked chest in an effort to seduce Alex, however the man stays resilient and tells the stranger to leave. She shoves Alex to the ground with unnatural ease, mounting on top of him and kissing him, pumping a toxic slime into his mouth.
After poisoning Alex, the stranger reveals their true self as a human possessed by an alien species, stealing Alex’s seed to cultivate and breed more of the alien’s kind. After successfully accomplishing her goal to breed, the stranger prowls through the city streets at night, only to be ambushed by Melody.
Melody reveals herself as a former friend of Emma, the stranger’s identity, begging her to snap out of this strange state of mind she’s going through. To Melody’s horror, she learns that Emma is truly gone. What Melody is facing is merely an empty vessel puppeteered by an alien creature that desires to breed and spread. Having given Emma her full attention, Melody is subjected to become the next vessel…

Male encounter felt contrived, the female encounter was overdone and overlong, to no real purpose or ending. A begining would have been nice, an open ending even better. Something coherent in between, would have been the pièce de résistance… Which was missing from this.

Took awhile to work out that the offending word was ‘s-o-m-e-t-h-i-n-g’… apparently they manually reviewed and published anyway. Why words like ‘p-o-r-n’ and s-o-m-e-t-h-i-n-g’ should be grounds for moderation is frankly beyond me. Annoying.

Also loved the friend betrayal story. Parasited works best with some emotional connection between characters to begin with. Good casting with Melody in sensible girl next door mode contrasting with Emma’s possessed ingenue. Would have liked a stronger ending but good work otherwise.
